Community Hunger Advocates
The voices of passionate Washingtonians are some of our most powerful tools to combat hunger. Join our network of Community Hunger Advocates to make your voice heard.
Hunger Free Washington’s work spans many nutrition programs and advocacy at all levels of government, but through it all, one thing remains true: community voice is what drives action from lawmakers, advocates, and partner organizations. It keeps policy grounded in the real experiences of Washingtonians, illustrates how political decisions affect people's lives, and brings critical perspectives to the table that legislators would not otherwise hear.
Who are Community Hunger Advocates?
Our Community Hunger Advocates network includes people with lived experience of hunger and poverty, as well as general community members who want to be more involved in the fight to end hunger.
As a Community Hunger Advocate, you'll receive more frequent updates on the state of anti-hunger efforts in Washington and be the first to hear about opportunities to take action. We’ll keep you informed during key legislative sessions, and make sure you have the tools you need to make a difference.
